It is liquid based, that goes on clear and easy with the roller style bottle that dries pretty quickly and has a fresh scent, like oranges or other citrusy fruits, that isn't overpowering. I have used countless brands including scented and unscented... in all varieties, but I will say that this one is pretty good.
