VeggieTales: Abe and the amazing promise.

Okay so who doesn't love VeggieTales.  I find them very cute.  And well, so do my kids.  I jumped at the chance to review this new movie!  Plus, I think I needed some help teaching patience.  Even for myself. Ha

This movie is very adorable.  Like all their shows and movies, you have all the classic silly songs and even Silly Songs with Larry.

This movie is a mock up of the story of Abraham {and his wife Sarah} and their wait for a child. God promised a child to Abe and Sarah but they had to have patience and wait upwards of 15 years!  Bob the Tomato and Junior Aspargus decide to interview them.  But they throw in some quirks and a silly crew which makes for an interesting way to teach patience.

Also, Blunders in Boo-Booville which also has a lesson in patience.  But this time it's a lesson on being patient in doing things right.. not rushing just to finish.

These are fun ways to teach patience.  While watching it, my daughter begging me for a drink, and me telling her several times "Hold on, I am doing something, give me a minute."  Still she kept asking so I said.. "Sweetie, we need to learn patience.. and trust that mommy will do what she says she going to do!"  She COMPLETELY got it!  Haha.. I really do think this might have helped in my situation, considering we've had this over a week now and have seen it.. oh I don't know a hundred times?

All in all, a very fun video by VeggieTales once again.  We all enjoyed it, and are very glad to have it in our collection.

This was apart of Family Review Network and Big Idea who provided the video for review.

I love my kids, my husband, and my dog. I also have slight a obsession with makeup and fashion. I love to cook, make sugar cookies, and craft things. Anything that can make my life easier or prettier... I am pretty much all for! I love shoes, mostly high heels, because they make my legs look amazeballs. Or at least less blah. I don't like laundry. Like at all. But I love clothes. Does that make sense?
