    Oscar the Pig

I had the pleasure of reviewing a children's book.. I am obsessed with children's books so I was super excited..
This is such a cute story of something a lot of mothers have to deal with on a day to day basis. Separation Anxiety.

Oscar the Pig.. is scared. Worried his mommy will never return. Worried she doesn't love him anymore and about who is going to care for him. This is where we will meet Ms. Tutu, his new nanny.. a hen with a magical gift. She takes him on a journey where he finds; a new friend who also has a nanny, and some great fun. His new friend re-assures him that not only does his mother love him but she'll love to hear about everything he has done while she was away. His journey comes to an end, and his mother returns home waiting to hear about all the fun. He even gives her a special surprise. Although he missed his mom, he can't wait until Ms. Tutu comes back tomorrow for a whole new adventure.

This was such a sweet story. A great way to show a child that even though mommy has to work, they can still enjoy their day and have great adventures to tell her about later when she comes back.
If you are returning to work and have to leave your child with a caregiver.. what better to do this by reading them a story about it.

I read this story to my daughter who is 3 and my niece who is 4 years old.  They both loved it. It kept their attention very well with the illustrations that are wonderfully drawn and the fun story.

Great book to add to your home library.

Sounds like an interesting book. Seperation can be really difficult for people.

I love my kids, my husband, and my dog. I also have slight a obsession with makeup and fashion. I love to cook, make sugar cookies, and craft things. Anything that can make my life easier or prettier... I am pretty much all for! I love shoes, mostly high heels, because they make my legs look amazeballs. Or at least less blah. I don't like laundry. Like at all. But I love clothes. Does that make sense?
